It’s December already and as we approach a new year – my second as the Superintendent of Educational Service District 112 – I’m looking forward to continued success in our work together. Thank you for working in partnership with ESD 112. Our programs exist for one purpose: to support the missions and goals of the school districts we serve. I want to thank all those who contribute their time, talent and energy to students and families in Southwest Washington.
Here at ESD 112, we’re in the giving spirit! The “Giving Tree” in our lobby has been replenished three times with gift tags to help families in our communities. Employees have donated supplies, toys, warm coats, clothing and food. Another tree in the ESD front lobby is covered with hats, socks and gloves for delivery to the Winter Hospitality Overflow program to help the homeless. In addition, we donated more than 600 pounds of food to the Treasure House in the Fall. Our staff, board and community partners are generous in their volunteer time and financial support to ensure the holidays are enjoyed by all. They participate with the spirit of bringing in the new year with hope and compassion.
Thank you for helping to make our successes possible. From the ESD family to yours – Have a memorable holiday and a Happy New Year!
