The 44th Annual Superintendent’s High School Art Show will hold its awards ceremony and reception on May 19, 2017 at the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) in Olympia. All nine regional ESDs in the state send the winning artwork from their regional shows to participate in this statewide artistic celebration each year. Three of the awards given this year will go to students from the ESD 112 region. They are:
Judges Choice:
Dixie Anderson, “Weaved Pot”, Battle Ground High School – Judges’ Choice
Keaton Bruce, “I Think I’m Thinking”, Kelso High School – Honorable Mention
Anna Mironyuk, “Kitty and Eye”, Ridgefield High School – Judges’ Choice
The Judges Choice pieces are purchased by OSPI and will be placed on display in Olympia. Congratulations to these students and all of the students who participated in the state show.
