Enterprise Content Management Shared Hosting and Consulting Services, powered by a shared Laserfiche hosting environment

About

What is Laserfiche?

Laserfiche is a provider of enterprise content management (ECM) and business process automation offering a range of solutions including document scanning and data capture, search features, metadata modification and workflow automation tools.

At ESD 112, we use Laserfiche for many processes that involve the inputting or ingestion of information that needs to be routed for approvals and then filed such as:

  • Managing the entire early intervention student process
  • Cumulative student files for retention
  • Board documents
  • Processing accounts payable invoices
  • Contracts
  • Credit card requisitions/receipts
  • Travel expense reimbursement
  • Personnel actions and files

Our Services

Initiated as a consortium pilot in 2021, ESD 112 began offering districts and educational partners access to managed Laserfiche hosting and consulting services. Through our shared Laserfiche hosting environment, clients have full access to a robust Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution at a fraction of the cost.

In addition to providing consortium members with managed Laserfiche hosting services and licenses, ESD 112 can provide custom integration and/or development of workflows, forms, trainings, and other services, to improve business processes and records management.

System Features

  • Access to Laserfiche software in a shared environment including public forms (Forms Portal) and public access to a repository (WebLink), offering a cost-effective ECM solution
  • Augmented with best-of-breed applications such as Abbyy’s FlexiCapture software to better capture data and documents to automate the ingestion of digital and paper files
  • Integration with other systems and services to reduce duplicate data entry
  • Library of proven and tested forms and workflows that can be added and tweaked in a client’s Laserfiche instance for rapid deployment
  • Consultation and creation of forms and workflows that can be shared across consortium members
  • Implementation and ongoing support services, including initial staff training, with a focus on the use of repositories and storing documents
