Meet Tye Churchwell, Wishram School District’s new superintendent! After a 27-year journey through education, he's returned to the schools that shaped his early years.

Churchwell has worked in schools across Washington and Oregon, and has also served on educational committees at ESD 112. Churchwell attended Wishram School from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Churchwell says, “I’m not sure if the school needed me or I needed the school, but my job at Wishram School has been the most rewarding job one person could ask for.” Tye and his wife of more than 27 years, Kandy, have two grown children.
