About the ECE Volunteer Team

Our Early Care and Education (ECE) staff and children greatly appreciate community participation and educational opportunities. Do you have a skill, hobby or activity you would like to share with one of our ECE centers? Are you passionate about something that the next generation of learners can benefit from?

Requirements to Become an ECE Volunteer Team Member

On behalf of Early Care & Education at ESD 112, we would like to thank you for your willingness to volunteer your time and services to our programs! We greatly appreciate your support as we seek to provide equitable and high-quality learning opportunities for children and families in our community.

Our Volunteer Team is happy to customize a volunteer experience for each person.  We will walk you through the volunteer process and help you complete the needed background checks and grant requirements for the specific program.

Volunteers must be 14 years or older.

As Washington State Licensed Child Care Providers, regular volunteers in our centers are obligated to meet state requirements on trainings and documentation. These policies help protect the staff, families, and children our programs serve. All identifiable documents and information are kept confidential and protected. The Volunteer Coordinator will help oversee the completion of these requirements throughout the brief certification process. We appreciate your compliance and understating immensely.
