Congratulations to Evergreen Public Schools (EPS) Board member Julie Bocanegra 2018 Iris Award winner. The Iris Awards celebrate and honor women in Southwest Washington for their leadership and outstanding contributions in the categories of public, private, and philanthropic service. Bocanegra was nominated for the award by former EPS Superintendent John Deeder.

Other winners include – Julianna Marler, CEO Port of Vancouver – Iris Award; Nancy Retsinas, Attorney – 2018 H-RoC Iris Award; and Nan Henriksen, Community Volunteer – 2018 Iris Legacy Award winner.
